It’s in my DNA

It’s in my DNA that I worry. It’s in my DNA that I have thunder thighs. It’s in my DNA that I love to whine.

Truth be told there ain’t no truth in the first 3 sentences of this blog entry. Don’t give me that look but it’s probably in my DNA to be so melodramatic as well and random and all the weird things that I do.

Unemployment gets me nervous. Jogging hasn’t helped much … it has made me 3 toned in color and somehow my stomach is still as big as a soccer ball (no exaggeration there mate!) but it has gotten me to stop thinking about smoking but I am still swallowing that caffeine as if there is no tomorrow with my two shots of espresso to keep me going for the day.

One week after exams and countless surfing of the Internet for jobs… it’s not that I am picky with jobs… okay I am picky… but it doesn’t look too good. All this information of “need at least 3 year experience”… *sighz* I hope I really graduate… 3 more weeks till I can get results or was it 4? I went to visit the library to check out some books… (they are weird topics) and their titles range from: 

1) Decoding the Universe: How the New Science of Information is Explaining Everything in the Cosmos, From Our Brains to Black Holes
2) Actionable Web Analytics
3) Naked Conversations: How Blogs are changing the Businesses Talk With Customers
4) Eat Pray Love

I have always been a fan of Non Fiction sections in the library. So far book number 3 is quite predictable… stopped reading after the 1st chapter and started flipping through book 2 now. Maybe book 1 will explain some new science of how my DNA may contribute my actions and behaviour. I doubt it though… especially if it’s about quantum physics. Please don’t ask why I picked this book, I just thought maybe it will be interesting to look at.

I really need to start making plans of my new short term goals and long term career goals. I am really wasting my life… I need to get my act together…
