This is the most recent anime I have been watching. I admit though I have only watched 4 episodes and I thought it was really funny so far although I have to say these days have been really boring for me so I am amused easily. The cartoon drawn reminds me of gorillaz and luckily someone was kind enough to translate it to English subtitles for me to comprehend the story. According to wikipedia, there are 51 episodes… trust me hearing that number just totally threw me off since I can’t even sit through a 30 episode TVB series without skipping at least 25 episodes in the middle. I know I know… I am terrible… ahhahha Which explains why people get irritated at me when I keep asking “What’s going on? I don’t get it…” (^-^)
The storyline isn’t rocket science but I guess if you don’t mind anime and you are looking for one which doesn’t require a lot of thinking then this is the series to watch. I don’t know if it kills brain cells but check it out if you are bored at the moment. It will help kill time.
Yes … I am suppose to be revising and focusing on exams but I am guilty of watching anime for the last hour. This time I am totally hooked onto Claymore. Forget about Devil May Cry since I am waiting for the episodes to be released but Claymore is much more fascinating. I am watching kick ass hybrid demon slayers kill demons. It is so much better than reading about 2 tier, 3 tier, n tier client server architectures!! This is not anime for the viewers with weak stomachs. There is blood flying every where and squirting at all directions. Mind you… after awhile I felt like drinking ribena… Go watch it to see why!
It’s rather exciting and I have just finish watching episode 8… I am in total shock in how the plot has turned into something unexpected. I haven’t been so engrossed in any series besides the time I watched the Hong Kong series Catch the Uncatcheable. That was a funny TVB Cantonese series that I enjoyed. But Claymore… it is so much more. It has gotten me sitting on the edge of my wooden stool and my jaw dropping and my eyes glued to the monitor. CAN YOU FEEL HOW I AM FEELING?
If I ain’t wrong, the anime is based on the manga. People do correct me if I am incorrect since I am not a fan club of manga or anime usually. Just that S recommended it and I have not been able to stop watching it since. Do you read Japanese? If you do click here! Directs you to the story of the animation. You can have a peek at the gallery as well for pictures and the characters.
I do recommend it if you into action and demon slayers!
Have you heard this song before? It was sent to me… I LOVE IT! Such an emotional feeling towards this song.
Out of huge curiosity I did some googling on the song and the artist who sang this which is Ilaria Graziano. She’s an italian artist and she specifically sang it for the anime Ghost in the Shell. I took the lyrics off http://cowboy.i-i.st/169 which can be seen below the clip. I have also found the English translation to the lyrics at http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/ghostshell/ido.htm and I posted below as well the English translation.
Lyrics: I do – Ilaria Graziano
i do, i do emergere dal fondo per lottare e poi salire in alto piu che mai i do, i do guardare nel futuro e sorridere senza temare nulla piu

in the illusion I have believed to my inexorable force, and unavoidablly they have become weak person, hour I feel the events transformano and I know myself already, of emotions that open far memories,
in the spirit meeting the hope that in the tired body by now, has stopped to vibrate as a fire extinguished from mine I plant, between the hands a trickle of water will carry with me and, in the desert a blade of grass sopravviverଠ
I give, I give to emerge from the bottom in order to fight then and, to go up up more than ever, I give, I give to watch in the future and sorridere, without to fear more null,
in a instante new aspirations even if in front of me, one is opened scene of conquests and losses, in Hush, reflected de ages left via, breathing some I perceive the circular motion then and?c
the time has been stopped in order to trace new borders, and I, will be pushed far away collecting my forces in the wind, between the reflected hands of ages left via, walking meeting the indelebili traces,
I give, I give to scream against the extinguished and icy eyes, for being always more, I give, I give to exceed impregnable worlds, without to fear more null?
I give, I give to emeregere from the bottom in order to fight then and, to go up up more than ever, I give, I give to watch in the future and sorridere, with one new identity, until when the sun rises.
Have you ever seen a horrific bloody gruesome kind of anime? Are you interested? I would classify this under action / horrific. It’s an anime based on a game. I’ve only seen 2 episodes of this but I really like the character Lady who is like the woman demon capture of some sort. She has different colored eyes and of course there is the protagonist who is this guy named Dante. Who also is a demon/devil capture. No it’s not like ghost busters…
Below I attached the first episode from youtube. If you are interested just search on youtube.
Warning: Don’t watch it if you can’t handle the sight of blood.
